===>Personal Note from India
Hi there,
I hope you are doing well. I am great. My week started off a little rocky because I wasn’t feeling well, but I am doing fine now. It’s been absolutely beautiful here in Georgia, hot…but beautiful. It’s been in the 90’s, but I’m not complaining because I love the summer.
The Free Virtual Assistant Jobs section of the website has been updated with new job leads. So head on over there and have a look.
On another note….I’m working on getting the past issues of the newsletter archived. Past issues will be posted at Virtual Assistant Newsletters so if you miss an issue, you can read it there.I would love to hear your feedback about this newsletter. Please hit reply and let me know what you think.
Wishing you all the best,
India Jordan

If You Build It They Will Come
I’m sure you have heard of the saying “if you build it, they will come.” Well that is so not the case when it comes to your website.
I was at the hair salon and somehow my stylist and I got on the subject of her website. She told me that she no longer had it and I asked why. She said it wasn’t really bringing her any business. I asked her “did you do any search engine optimization” (SEO), and she looked at me dumfounded and said, “what’s that”.
Well needless to say that was the problem. She thought she could just slap a website up on the net and the traffic was going to magically appear. Sad to say she is not the only one who thinks this way. Well…I am here to tell you it doesn’t work like that. SEO is a crucial part of building your website. If the search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc) aren’t able to find you then neither will potential clients.I recommend starting with the basics of search engine optimization. It’s not difficult to learn and the more you do it, the easier it becomes. Start with this article:Website Search Engine Optimization
Until next time….enjoy the your week….chow.
Wishing you the best,India Jordan
