===>Personal Note from India

Hi there,

How are you? I’ve had a headache for the last 3 days. I’ve always suffered from migraines and sinus problems, but it seems these last three days have been murder. I hate taking any kind of medication, and I’ll try to avoid it unless absolutely necessary. I’m on Imitrex (migraine medication), but the side effects seem worse than the migraine. Anyhow enough about me…I hope you’re doing well.

New job leads are up for grabs. Here you go:

Search Engine Marketing and Your VA Business

Marketing and promoting your Virtual Assistant (VA) Business is an important aspect of growing your business. In the past we have talked about how search engine optimization plays a crucial role in your website ranking well in the search engines. Even if you optimize your web pages, it still can take up to six months or more for search engines to find you and rank your web pages. And even then, due to a number of factors, your website might not show up on the 1st two pages of search results.

Statistics show that when people are searching the internet most don’t look past the first or second page of results. Lets be honest…time is money, and do you have the patience or time to wait that long to start getting traffic to your VA Website? If you’re like me I hate waiting.

In the last newsletter we discussed how writing articles and press releases can be used to promote and get traffic to your website. What if I told you though that I know a way for you get instant traffic to your VA website…right this minute…no waiting six months or more while your competitors get your clients. Well you can…even if it’s a new website or established website. It’s called Pay Per Click (PPC) Search Engine Internet Marketing / Advertising.

Go to a search engine like Google or Yahoo and type virtual assistant in the search box, then hit enter. On the right side of your computer screen you will see ads under “Sponsored Links” or “Sponsored Results” depending on which search engine you use. This is PPC Search Engine Internet Marketing in action.

Today we’ll focus on Google. Those ads you see are called Google Adwords. People like you and I, advertise their companies using Google Adwords. You simply sign up for an account with Google Adwords, create an ad campaign, set a budget, and whoola Google puts your ad up and you start getting instant traffic to your VA website. You only pay when someone clicks on your ad. Of course that’s the simplified version…it’s more to it than that, but you get the point.

PPC Search Engine Advertising can put a big dent in your bank account and wallet if you don’t know what you’re doing. However with a some help learning the ins and outs, you can start getting potential clients to your website instantly. How great is that? I’d say pretty great.
